- 420 lbs
- 58 horsepower
- 115 mph top speed
- Built between 1967 and 1977
- 745cc OHV parallel twin
- Pre Unit design engine, where the transmission is separate from the engine
- Award winning frame designed by former Rolls Royce engineer, Dr. Stephen Bauer.
- The engine, gearbox and rear swingarm are bolted together, and then isolated from the frame, using rubber bushings. The “Isoclastic” engine mounting system, was revolutionary at the time, and necessary as engine displacement increased from 500 cc’s to 750. It makes for a very smooth, almost vibration free motorcycle. However, the system must be perfectly setup, in order for the chassis alignment to be correct.
- The bike is a modified version, but uses the stock frame and the engine is stock as well. The rest of the bike is all Norton, but with some upgrades:
- Custom shouldered aluminum rims
- Hagon rear shocks
- Café styke “M” handlebars
- Pea shooter mufflers
- Custom seat
- Lightweight fiberclass front fender
- Electric starter
- Custom turn signals
- Halcyon bar end mirror
- Norman Hyde rear seats
- Custom paint
- Keihin CR carburetors
